As a compliance and privacy officer for a leading Quebec-based manufacturer of generic, branded, and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, serving both the Canadian and international markets since January 2018, Julien is responsible for overseeing the company’s adherence to its Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Business Conduct, as well as providing guidance on the legal and ethical aspects of its commercial activities. Julien has a master’s degree in Law and Life Science from Université de Sherbrooke and is a member of the Quebec Bar. He has extensive knowledge of the regulatory frameworks for drug and medical device approvals in Canada and the US, which he gained through his academic research and his previous experience in business law firms.
